[摘要]目的 提升医院病案统计工作的质量，探讨现代化管理策略的效果。方法 选取2016年4月～2018年4月我院收治的164例患者作为研究对象，按照入院先后顺序，将2016年4月～2017年3月收治的82例患者作为对照组，采用常规病案管理;将2017年4月～2018年4月收治的82例患者作为观察组，采用现代化病案管理。比较两组患者的死亡情况、服务满意度评分、病案失误情况。结果 观察组患者的总病死率低于对照组，差异有统计学意义(P<0.05);观察组患者的服务质量总满意度为97.56%，显著高于对照组的89.02%，差异有统计学意义(P<0.05);观察组患者的病案管理方式总失误率低于对照组，差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论 在病案统计中，进行现代化管理可提升病案管理的质量，有临床应用价值，值得临床推广。
